About
I am relatvely new to modelling but have gained some experience of modelling while working as an actor. This includes stills work for photostories and being filmed for social media stories. As an actor I have experience in screenacting in feature length and short films. I enjoy meeting people and facing new challenges and am reliable, punctual and I always try to prepare well.
Since coming out of lockdown I’ve been lucky enough to work with some very talented young film makers on very different projects ranging from comedy to expressive realism and I’ve had the joy of work on outdoor theatre (Kouyou theatre) and some work on a computer video game and I commence rehearsals for a panto in November.
The film ‘The Last Rite’ (Nocturnal Pictures) in which I have a substantial role was picked up by Samuel Goldwyn Films and was distributed in US and Canada from the 26th of November 2021.
I’ve also been doing a lot of improv, immersive/site specific and a lot of comedy recently.
Theatre experience: I am recently played the King in All’s Well That Ends Well directed by the amazing Phil Willmott at the newly opened Rotherhithe Playhouse Theatre. I have acted in conventional theatres, outside in promenade performances and as characters in immersive experiences and dramas( scripted and improvised). I’ve toured nationally and in ROI, in comedy shows ( Hirshel Gunzberg in Willis & Vere’s ‘A Serious Play About World War II’), and in theatre in Education. I have experience in clowning and some physical theatre(Credits include playing: & Andreas in Tom Dick & Harry, Dugdale Centre Enfield. A very physical show, in which I had to speak Albanian and broken English and produce something tolerable on the trumpet, and am always up for being stretched in new directions..
Additional skills:
I enjoy singing and can play tunes on a tin whistle.
I have in my ordinary working life been a headteacher, a fine art painter, a builder and decorator, gallery technician, civil servant, a book seller and have communicated with a broad range of different audiences, and have a broad personal social experience of the world including knowledge of issues around child protection, mental health and other aspects of social and economic disadvantage, religious cults and meditation and I believe this would help me in playing many types of role.
Additional information: I am a flexible actor who always prepares thoroughly and responds well to direction. Others tell me that I bring intensity, naturalism and credible expression to my performances. I can also be funny, move well and improvise.
