At the age of 17 I was sent to Lucy Clayton, at the time a finishing school and modeling academy in London. At the time I could not pursue the cat walk that I had been scouted for. I always wondered ‘what if’. Now at the age of 50+ I decided to fulfil my teenager ambitions. As I run my own business I have a lot of flexibility.

Professional background: Rebecca has an extensive global network, across developed and emerging markets, with over two decades experience in capital raising, business development and C-Suite advisory. She holds a Masters in International Law from the University of Leiden in the Netherlands (1992). After five years in Monaco and ten years in the Middle East, she is now based in London.

Rebecca founded award winning investment advisory firm AlphaBet Capital Advisors in 2003. Prior to that she was a Managing Director, Head of Institutional Pan-European Equity Sales to Investors in the Benelux at Bear Stearns in London. Previously, Vice President of Robertson Stephens, specialist sales biotech and technology. At Citigroup, Head of Pan-European Institutional Equity sales to Investors in the Benelux, Vice President in London. She joined Salomon Brothers in the mid 90s on the trading floor, which following the mergers with Citibank, Schroders, and Smith Barney was renamed Citigroup. At JP Morgan in Brussels, she was a Project Manager in the Services Development Department of Euroclear. Additionally, she worked at the European Commission in Brussels and the Human Rights Committee of the United Nations in Geneva.
